Brown eyes, light brown hair. Church of England. Name is on 18th Battalion Sailing List 18-4-15, SS Grampion arrived England 29-4-15. Embarked for France, 15-9-15. 11-10-15 self inflicted (severe) gun shot wound left hand. 20-11-15 invalided to England, further treatment. 25-4-16 returned to 18th Battalion, full duty. Returned to Canada aboard SS Caronia 14-5-19. Demobilized London 24-5-19. Married Gladys Wilson 1-9-28, Fergus. OCFA: buried Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus, (new side). Interred with spouse, Gladys Wilson.
