Oswald Walsh as part of Mount Forest corps in 1st Contingent." Enlisted 1st Battalion Transport Section Valcartier 22-9-14 (22 years 10 mos.), lists service in Militia (30th). Notation "30th Wellington" on back of Attestation Papers. 5 foot 5 1/2 inches, blue eyes, light brown hair. Roman Catholic. Overseas aboard SS Laurentic from Quebec, PQ 14-10-14. Returned aboard SS Caronia 2-7-19, Halifax, N.S. Demobilized London 4-7-19. Ancestry.ca Family Tree died 17-10-76 at Owen Sound, interred Greenwood Cemetery G-N16-24-grave 9.
