Assigned Canadian Machine Gun Corps Depot for Training and Administration. Taken on Strength 1st CMGC in the field 17-3-18. Suffered severe contusion of back, hospitalized 29-7-18, returned to unit 31-8-18. Cushnie Letter Dated 27-10-17 Seaford, England: "Yesterday afternoon we also went to the Machine Gun Depot which is stationed here and where we found quite a number of fellows who used to be in the 153rd but who have transferred to this unit since coming to England. Rachar and Sedore are about the only Mt Forest boys in it....Alex Keir was also there along with most of the boys who used to belong to the machine gun section of the 153rd."
