Enlisted Mt Forest 17-11-15 (age 31 years 8 months). Enlistment noted in 23-1-16 edition Arthur Enterprise. On 153rd Nominal Roll 12-2-16. On 153rd Nominal Rolls as published Guelph Mercury 10-6-16 and 1-12-16. Transfer to MD#2 NCO's Training School 31-3-17. Transfer to 1st Depot Regiment WOR. Went overseas with 28th Draft CE aboard SS Runic, landed England 24-5-18. Assigned CE Depot Seaford for Training and Administration. Served in England only. Returned to Canada aboard SS Mauretania 9-5-19, Halifax, N.S. 1921 Canadian Census George and Mary Ruttle, 2 sons, 2 daughters living 7 Croydon Ave. York South.
