No found on 153rd Nominal Roll as published Guelph Mercury 10-6-16. On 153rd Nominal Roll as published Guelph Mercury 1-12-16. Embarked with 153rd Halifax N.S. SS Olympic 29-4-17. Mt Forest Register 28-3-18 reports "...did not get farther than England, where he was rejected for physical reasons and returned to Canada." Returned to Canada aboard SS Grampian, 17-3-18, St John N.B. Medical Board Toronto 25-4-18 recommends discharge. Discharged Toronto 9-5-18, physical unfitness. Ontario Marriage Registry (019175) married 10-8-18 to Mary Ferguson at Palmerston, residence after marriage Mount Forest. On 1921 Census for Mt Forest, Robert and Mary, 1 son, Main St. Mount Forest.
