Enlistment noted 2-12-15 edition Arthur Enterprise. On 153rd Battalion Nominal Roll 19-2-16, no transfers noted. On 153rd Nominal RollS as published Guelph Mercury 10-6-16 and 1-12-16. Embarked with 153rd Halifax N.S. SS Olympic 29-4-17. Taken on Strength 47th Battalion 29-3-18. Accidentally injured, fell off of troop train 29-3-18, broken right elbow, broken toes right foot. Globe and Mail Casualty list 13-4-18 under Infantry reports 'wounded." Discharged in England 24-10-19, forwarding address Preston, Lancashire.
