Embarked with 153rd Halifax N.S. SS Olympic 29-4-17. Taken on Strength 18th Battalion 28-3-18. Shrapnel Wound upper right arm 27-8-18, severe (Arras). Globe & Mail Canadian Casualty lists 12-9-18 "wounded." Returned to Canada aboard SS Araguaya, Halifax, N.S. Veterans Death Card: died 10-10-62 at Goderich, no cause given, not war service related.
