On 153rd Nominal Roll 12-2-16, no transfer noted. On 153rd Battalion Nominal Rolls as published Guelph Mercury 10-6-16 and 1-12-16. Embarked with 153rd Halifax N.S. SS Olympic 29-4-17. Arrived Liverpool 25-7-17. Assigned 25th Reserve for Training and Administration. Taken on Strength 18th Battalion 29-3-18. GSW 27-8-18, machine gun bullet to right thigh, plus compound fracture right femur. Returned to Canada aboard SS Essequibo 17-5-19, Halifax, N.S. disability: compound fracture left femur. In Military hospitals France, England and Canada until discharged. Discharged 28-10-20 as medically unfit to take effect 30-10-20 - to take further in patient treatment under DSCR. Department of Veteran Affairs Death Notification: died 27-7-71, Scarborough General Hospital, Toronto.
