On 153rd Battalion Nominal Roll as published Guelph Mercury 1-12-16. Transferred to 216th Battalion 8-12-16. On 216th Sailing List 18 April 1917, SS Scandinavian, Halifax N.S. Assigned 3rd Reserves for Training and Administration. Taken on Strength 19th Battalion in France 16-11-17. Returned to Canada aboard SS Caronia, Halifax N.S. 22-5-19. Demobilized Toronto 24-5-19. Veterans Death Card: died 19-12-58 at Fergus, no further information.
