Enlisted Mt Forest 8-12-15 (age 19 years 8 months), lists 3 years service 30th Wellington Regiment. Enlistment noted in 23-1-16 edition Arthur Enterprise. On 153rd Battalion Nominal Roll 19-2-16, no transfer noted. On 153rd Nominal Rolls as published Guelph Mercury 10-6-16 and 1-12-16. Embarked with 153rd Halifax N.S. SS Olympic 29-4-17. Cushnie letter dated 18-8-17 states "...transferred to 160th Band (Bruce) and are now at Witley Camp." Taken on Strength 47th Battalion 5-4-18. Returned to Canada aboard SS Empress of Britain, Quebec City, 4-6-19. Demobilized London 6-6-19.
